Chris and Robert first started racing minimotos in 2003. It was Chris' best friend, James Cunningham, who was already racing who brought Chris along to watch. They first went along to a race meeting, held by David Jennings IMF, at Nutts Corner. They raced on hire bikes for several races before getting their own 4.2 air cooled Polini machines ... and so their race career started.

In 2005 both began racing at MMRCI Minimoto championships and achieved the following:

Robert - Junior Cadest 7th position and Junior Production 10th

Chris - Senior Lights 5th positon

2006

Robert - Junior Cadets 3rd position and Production 2nd position

Chris - Production 6th position

2007

Chris - Super Open Class 4th position

2008

Purchased two RS 125 Honda GP bikes and after a chance meeting with Tim Stott, he came on board to help set the bikes up.

Results so far in Newcomers:

Robert - 4 x 1st, 6 x 2nd, 4 x 4th, 2 DNF's - Total Points 272 - Currently lying 2nd in the 125 GP Newcomers Championship

Chris - 2 x 2nd, 7 x 3rd, 1 x 4th, 5 x 5th, 1DNF - Total Points 220 - Currently lying 3rd in the 125 GP Newcomers Championship

Bishopscourt Lap Record Broken - Chris broke the Newcomers lap record in race 1, lapping at 1'18.7" which was again broken by Robert in race 2 when he lapped at 1'18.1".

Kirkistown - Robert 1 x 3rd, 1 x 2nd - Beating Clubmans Lap Record by over 0.5 of a second

Bishopscourt & Kirkistown - Easter Weekend Robert 5 x1st - Chris gained a 3rd

Mondello Park (International Track) - Robert 1 x 4th, 2 x 2nd

Bishopscort - Robert 1 x 3rd - Chris 1 x 14th

Kirkistown - Robert 2 x 4th - Chris 1 x 8, 1 x DNF

Knockhill - Robert - 2 x 2nd - Chris 1 x 6th, 1 x 8th

Angelsey - Robert - 1 x 2nd, 1 x 6th, 1 x DNF - Chris 1 x 5th, 1 x 11th, 1 x 7th

125 GP CLASS - Robert finished in 2nd place with 319 points

125 GP CLUBMANS CLASS - Robert finished in 1st place on 481 points and Chris finished in 3rd with 199 points
